Hei - Size: 9.6H x 12W inches
“Wok Hei” is critical to Chinese cuisine being the moment that extreme heat infuses a dish with a taste that is totally unique. The Macau Ferry Pier night market was where you not only saw but also experienced the heat of the flame and all that was good about the tastes of Hong Kong. An authentic, vibrant riot of colour always in action, in the open air, right by the harbour: you were literally in the middle of the kitchen as your meal was being prepared.
These sights and sounds combined with amazing smells and tastes made for a totally “immersive experience” that was a true assault in the senses and nothing on today comes even close.
